Thomas Weinech Training

We would like to welcome the newest member of our family, Thomas Weinech, an Arnis practitioner from Germany who wanted to try out a different experience in Filipino Martial Arts. Being German, he is not new to the Filipino culture and has been in the Philippines several times. We also want to recognize the effort of his fiancee, Amor Lina, whom we made communication. Without her, this training wouldn't be possible. All her assistance is much appreciated.

November 9, 2009: Meeting with Thomas for the first time is exciting. Being a big guy, he also has a big heart. While training, we found him to be very friendly with a personality not very far from the Filipino culture. We refer to him as "Kalbo Joe". This was the name he chose for himself, as a result for always being mistaken for an American, and being bald. With a lot of stories, exchange of ideas, and a different experience in training, Kalbo Joe is going to be remembered not only as a student, but also a friend. We hope to see you again. Mabuhay ka, Kalbo Joe!
